1029. Today I am reminded that I am getting older! Thank you Lord for giving me air to breathe everyday even though if I were You, I would have strangled this girl a long time ago! I don’t celebrate fancy birthdays but I still feel special because I am alive! I pray that my 16th year of existence would bring more breakthroughs and stronger convictions, I pray for God to continuously direct my life and help me discern what is right from wrong. I still have a long way to go! And this is only the beginning.
Saya, sobrang saya, lungkot, inis, bagot, pagod, natatae. Mixed emotions ako nung CLTC. Hindi ako nagparamdam nang ilang araw kasi nasa Silang ako nang 3 araw, yay! Last year pumunta na ko rito pero ewan ko, pumunta ulit ako ngayong year huehue.
Hanep yung Silang Central School! Mas malaki yung field kesa sa mga classrooms. Ang astig <3
Day 01;
Ako lang babae sa crew namin ftw!! Hahaha. Pero ayos lang kasi puro mga 12-13 (plus isang 16 y/o schoolmate) y/o tapos ang aastig pa nila hindi halatang bata. Outfit #1, Crew Trias ♡ Wala puro lang lecture dito. Hahaha. Pero ayos na yung si Sir Arthur yung outfit adviser namin yay laughtrip kasi siya <3
Nagvolunteer ako para sa flag up. Tas nung practice, grabe kamo mejo malupet yung mga venturer dun lagi nalang ako tinatarget ano bang meron sakin?:-( For the first time may natutunan po ako kay Anime (sorry, mga tiga-CCS lang may alam nito haha)! Keep your bananas in your pockets! Ayaw kami patulugin mga 11:30 na yun oh tas calltime 5am pa. Buti nalang si Sir Jade andun, pampa-good vibes yay kung ano-ano pinagsasasabi tas friendly pa tas urgggh basta! Hahaha. Naging ka-close ko na rin si Richmond na sobrang bibo sa outfit #1, Eagle scout na pala tas ayun hahaha.
Day 02;
Flag up na. Medyo fail yung food for thought ko kasi may kulang sa verse na nasabi ko, ayos lang ang nakapansin lang naman si AJ *sana*. Ayun hoho ayos naman, :-) After nun halos buong araw ko na kasama sila Derrick at Kyle.
Ang saya kamo nung Tidal Wave na activity, kasi basaan YAY. Ang goal talaga is walang mababasa tas paramihan ng tubig. Ang nangyari pakontian ng laman ng tubig sa plato tas paramihan ng basa na member! Laughtrip kasi si Sir Jeph tinapunan ako ng isang buong batya ng tubig nung hawak ko yung plato yan tuloy nagkaron ako ng rason para maligo hahaha.
Nag-base method kami. Ayun nakakapagod yung compass reading mga teh akala namin Ideal House yung sagot I Lead lang pala! Nakinig ako nang sobra sa knot tying. Grabe ba? Di ko magawa nang maayos yung clove hitch pero yung bowline madali lang! Laughtrip ako sa estimation yay kasi andun si Sir Jade lols. Kunwari raw yung girl/boyfriend mo nasa kabilang dako ng dagat tas gusto mong tawagin, gagamit ka ng Napoleon Method tas bigla siyang sumigaw ng "I love you!“ basta paaarr parang ang corny ng pagkaka-explain ko pero pramis pag nakita niyo siya laughtrip talaga.
Sumakit tiyan ko dahil sa panis na kanin na kinain ko hindi ko alam kung bakit. tas nakuhaan pa kami ng flag. Eto yung pinakaayaw ko sa camping eh, grabe lang makakuha ng flag yung mga support staff/Eagle scouts huhuhu. Ang nanguha pa si Jomar, kaklase ko! Leche siya pagdating talaga sa scouting magkaaway kami eh hahaha joke. Pinagpasa-pasahan pa nila Elies tska ni Jeun Rei na tiga-CCS din. Hinabol ko yung flag kaya mas sumakit pa yung tiyan ko, grabe ako lang kamo yung tumatakbo ewan ko sa mga ka-crew ko nakatunganga lang -___- si Derrick nasa quarters, hindi na umalis sa sobrang inis hahaha.
Buti nalang napicturan ko pa yung apoy nung campfire na hindi naman nagbigay init sa aming nanglalamig na katawan (lolswhat). Kumikirot yung tiyan ko pa rin niyan. Hindi kami sinipot ni Derrick. Ayos lang haha. Crew Trias pa rin for the win! Pagbalik ko sa quarters bad trip sakit talaga ng tiyan ko, si Sir Jeph pinagwater therapy kaming dinapuan ng sakit.
Day 03;
Naghiking kami na hindi ko maintindihan kasi parang base method lang ulit hahaha. Ayos naman, pero mangiyak-ngiyak na po ako nung last station na kasi kelangan naming magduck walk sa kalawak-lawak na field ng Silang Central papuntang stage nila. Grabe pows.
Closing ceremony na, sobrang dami ko talagang chills sa tuwing nag sa-scout benediction as in!! Ayos lang naman yung closing pero may nakalimutan silang gawin. Yung awarding ng mga crew per outfits. Medyo nagexpect kasi ako na may award na makukuha yung Trias </3 kahit na best in skit lang? Hahaha joke assuming. Tsaka yung mga award na napanalunan naming games (Ihip-ihip na paypay-paypay dapat ang title, yung Release Me na naging Duck-Walk Race, etc.) pero ayos lang pagod na rin ako e. Di kami nakapagpa-picture ng Crew Trias :-(
Ang tagal dumating ng service namin ano ba yan. Kami na ata nagsarado ng Silang Central School! Nagpicture taking nalang kami yay <3 Nagkwentuhan nalang din kami, badtrip ang cliffhanger ni Sir Jeph dun sa kwento niya dun sa Hibok-hibok ba yun? Di ko lam haha.
Pagdating sa school, nagassembly ulit kami para sa pagbaba ng flag. Grabe ang sarap lang sa feeling na proud yung outfit advisers namin at sinasabi nilang lahat kami ay potential leaders. :’)
I couldn’t find my wallet before I went to the mall so I was really frustrated but my sister found it right after I left daw lol idek. So here’s what happened today!
City of Bones. Gaaaaaaaahd!! This movie rocked! I love how the theater wasn’t in full capacity though there were some people who screamed so loud during Jace and Clary’s garden scene lmao. I saw a lot of old people there like the age of our grandparents. They’re so kewl.
God’s Not Dead. While I was waiting for my friend in National Bookstore I was so surprised to see stocks of this book!! I never thought it would be sold in commercial bookstores but omg what surprised me the most is how friendly the price is!! I dont check the price in Victory’s resource library because the cover seems so expensive but never judge a book by it’s cover (note to self). Php 195 only omg. This will be on my list :-)
Katherine Mae. Loljk, her name is just Kathy/Katoy. My saturdate yay! I was supposed to watch with Sydney but she had to go somewhere and Kathy volunteered to go w/ me the night before haha. I’m so glad she really enjoyed the movie bc she said she doesn’t know TMI and also said she’ll borrow the book and we’ll watch the upcoming TMI movies :-). We had milk tea too yay milk tea buddies.
Ok people please give me a pat on the back because I just ordered doughnuts alone!! Gahd it’s so hard to act formal and all when you order something omg I can’t I don’t really order food for another person (Which is my mom) And btw the person who was in front of me was also the same person I saw in the cr after watching COB so if you’re reading this which has .1% chance, I’m not a stalker omg lol.
City of Ashes was out of stock so I ended up buying only Pandemonium. Yaaayyy! Delirium was awesomesauce and I couldn’t stop spazzing about it! Another Lauren Oliver madness coming right up huehue.
I look really hella tired idk man but it has been a really long time since I last handled the Multimedia in church during Saturday activities and Sunday services. Ugh I miss! :’( Though I was just listening to the music in that picture lol.
I got home with 6 boys –Toshi, Scott, Lemuel, Derrick, Solomon, and Cedric, who are my sister’s classmates, watching Windstruck. Omg tho lol. So my mom made carbonara for them and ofc for me too I mean I’m my mom’s daughter ofc she’d cook for me lol.
It was my first time to go to Ermita, Manila without my mom, but with my friends to buy my own scouting clothes. No car, no parents. I experienced a lot of things for it was my first time to commute and walk too much and explore Manila (while it was a rainy day), ride the LRT, and spend too much on a movie.
The main scout shop is located in front of SM Manila and we didn’t know the store’s closed on weekends!! The last time I went to the shop was 2 years ago while my friends went a year ago, so we didn’t know. We just went to the mall and eat, eat, eat and window shop.
I finally get to try Chatime!! Although I think the brand doesn’t matter, all pearl milk teas taste the same in my opinion.
KC and Alyn decided to search for more shop locations, and they found out the Libertad branch and we went for it. We rode the LRT and it was so tiring because we walked all the way from SM Manila to United Nations not knowing that behind the city hall was an LRT station (a day in the life of a Caviteña who thought she knew a lot about the capital city). We had to call our parents just to get to the place!
Streets are still busy despite how the clouds seem to convey that they’re gonna shed some big drops of tears again.
When we reached Libertad, I told my friends to cry because finally, finally we got to the place! It’s like “Aahh, heaven!”
The thing is, when we got there, the seller said that they only have the senior scout clothes for boys, not for girls. And so I felt crushed. But me and my co-senior scout friends bought unisex stuffs needed like the cap, neckerchief + slide, belt + buckle.
After Libertad, we rode the LRT again (what a shame because my dad told me when I got home that we can ride a jeep from there all the way to MOA) and walked through Baclaran. My shoes got dirty but, experience right?? A free souvenir from a place full of clothes and everything we need.
We watched Despicable Me 2 in 3D because we were already late for the 2D screening and we didn’t want to watch a movie that we didn’t start plus we wanted to get home early and so I paid Php300 (I had to pay, it was so expensive tbh bc I’m kuripot and doesn’t want to spend money yet again but I had no choice).
My Php300 wasn’t a waste though, because the movie was really great!! Heh I loooove all the minions, and Gru is still cute as ever
I have always been teased as an owl for having big eyes and I think I found my long lost twin!! Oh well, I’m bullying myself.
This day was so fun, I didn’t even remember I had assignments to do!! Loljk, this was definitely an adventure I won’t easily forget! Love you guys! (6th and some of the pictures on the 7th are from AJ!)
