125 Days Of Summer

When I was given the chance to take a four-month vacation, I was already picturing myself travelling and trying out new coffee shops, strolling on white sand beach, getting tan lines and working on making them disappear, chasing ocean waves and fading sunsets; for short, #summergoals

But that didn’t happen.

• Book fast, Internet fast, Lunch fast. For this year’s annual prayer and fasting I decided to take a break on reading paperbacks to see beyond the pages that I always have a choice–to sleep on time or to read overtime. I want books to be a source of inspiration and not a cause of my own destruction. 
• School is painfully giving me reminders that I am a graduating student. Thesis defense is drawing nearer and I have yet to finish my research paper. I won’t be able to attend our catering project because I’m gonna be in a contest and it worries me so much. Results of college applications make me so anxious about my future, (As of now my future is as bright as the night). The stress I get > the knowledge I gain. I’m crawling my way out of high school but I’m reminding myself that this too, shall pass.
  
• I need a break from life so I took myself to a movie date and watched Love, Rosie! I loved the book and the movie! Both made me laugh and cry (the book made me so impatient for them to come around that I just bawled in the end) Every time I see Lily Collins I swear I always find myself blurting out how beautiful she is and Sam Claflin is so beautiful and handsome and whenever he smiles I melt *sigh*. They portrayed Rosie and Alex so well! Katie and Toby were so cute too (both in the book and movie!!). There weren’t much people in the theater house but everyone was laughing and sniffing, It was so nice that I won in this hide and seek game I play with stress.

Nothing beats a Sunday night in a road trip with your loved ones, ♡

11/22/2014 - Happy birthday to the FC-est girl in the world!

With the full cooperation of her parents, we raided Gia’s house and set up a tiny birthday surprise last Saturday! It was full of tiptoeing, whispering, and saying "Text mo na nga si Dei-c kung asan na sya!“

We were all scared because her parents said Gia woke up early and was just fumbling with her phone upstairs but we found out she fell asleep again and phew! Alyn even called out bespreeeeeeen? outside the gate and we all teasingly scolded her because lmfao it was supposed to be a surprise but she called out her callsign with the celebrant’s name!

All of this was made possible because of Gia’s best friend, JJ, who we all think (including Gia’s mother) likes Gia but he denies so… *hmmm*

We flicked through movie channels and watched Catching Fire and parts of Bewitched, So Undercover, and The Exorcism of Emily Rose. After the boys went home, we took funny photos and attempted to skype with our friend in Canada, Edward, but only got to see his sister because he’s still in school! 

It was my first time to help do something like this and it was really, really fun because who would’ve thought right? As what a friend said, "This kind of thing usually only happens in a girl’s dream”.
