It’s been less than 3 months after Ignite 2013 ended, and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m still having the feels I had from this event. Talk about OA hungover! But yes, those 3 days were one of the most memorable days my mind can’t seem to erase. Those days when I don’t have to mind what the world was telling me, because all I know is that I’m gonna praise God with these 9,600+ students and nothing can stop me from doing so! Those 3 days served as a time to reflect on my spiritual life and made me realize that it’s really fun to be with young followers of Him. I even thought what it’d be like to have this conference every year! But it was revealed to me that maybe the reason why Ignite only happens every 2 years is that those seconds, minutes, hours, weeks, days, months spent of waiting for the next conference is actually the time to do my task to share what I know about God, and then make those peeps attend the next Ignite conference. Indeed, Ignite 2013 may have already ended months ago but my Ignite story has just started after. That burning fire, will never die. I won’t stop fanning the flame, the flame that burns for Him and influences others to also start theirs.

My school will be having its annual Christian Formation Week tomorrow where students will experience and do activities that will help grow their relationship with God. Weird though, because CFOW will only last for 3 days. It should be called CFOD, but anyways lol.

I don’t have my own bible yet and my youngest sister won’t let me borrow hers (since she’s using it tomorrow, too) so I searched for a bible in our bookshelf, and found this!

It’s a really old bible owned by my aunt though I don’t know why this is in our house. It’s so old I can’t even see the title anymore, and the quotations have already vanished due to its long existence. What I love about this bible though, it’s so used. It’s filled with colors, highlights, and quotations or reminders that will refresh your spirituality. This added up to my firing spirit for CFOW!

One thing I hope, is that all students will not say they’ll be religious for 3 consecutive days then they’ll be back to normal again. I hope they’ll realize that it’s not about being religious, not about encountering God for only a day or two. It’s about having that relationship with God, a relationship that is never ending.

“There’s a big difference between attending a worship service and sharing the Word. Don’t just sit in the church and get fat with the Word, go and make disciples."

I think the Lord spoke to me while Ptr. Joey was preaching last Sunday that it’s about time to finally start discipling people. I have been telling myself to start 121 since Ignite but there was no action done. Not until the Lord gave a revelation just a while ago when my friend, Jers, borrowed my bag and used it as her comforter. I found my bag opened then saw her browsing my 121 booklet that I used for our class devotion. "Abby explain mo naman sakin ‘to!”, these words made me internally scream and contemplating if what she said was real. I concluded it was a joke but she sat beside me during our break and told me “Di mo naman in-explain sakin eh!”, I then told her that I will after class. That time I knew that my mission starts now. It really is about time to do my task! After class, she was the one who approached me to have our 121 session. Man, that spirit sure is hungry! She brought with her Dianne, and we started it. Jomar came along and we had a pretty nice discussion, though I think 121 became a small group, but I was still thankful that finally, not one but 3 hearts are willing to be transformed.

I can always choose not to move, but this time, I refuse.

“…but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer." Psalm 66:19

Last Friday marks the day Victory Bacoor reached a number of 105 students!! I’m so happy since majority who came were from my school and I’ve been having the vision that someday, CCSians will attend and fill up the seats in this church, and it happened! Aahh Lord :’)

We have been praying for this since I can remember and the Lord has granted our prayers! He surely provides, we just need to wait and continue to have faith in Him.We do hope these students will continue to attend the youth service and will be willing to be discipled and used by God! ❤
