“He cried that night for all that he had lost, but he would say it taught him a valuable lesson: that holding on to things will only "break your heart.“” - Mitch Albom, Timekeeper
I was reading this book a while ago and now, I misplaced my copy! Is this fate or what? Kidding. I am actually really devastated right now. I’ve been searching the whole house and I still can’t find it ugh I swear I cried because I’m still reading it! Family members if you guys are tricking me, you know what I’m gonna do.
It’s only been two weeks and 2014 already sent me a package full of changes, problems, and challenges–all of which I didn’t expect to arrive so soon. But we can always choose to be positive right? :-)
Scholastica had their book fair in my school and I bought Diary of a Young Girl and Timekeeper! It’s the first book fair in school and I was really amazed and I spazzed because there were the Delirium trilogy, Percy Jackson series, John Green book set, etc. omg. My class section got the mini library which was a prize for buying 40 books (we had a collab with the other section + grade 8) and I borrowed Emma and Going Solo :-)
School is killing me I thought this month is December?? Where is the love?? Why are they giving us 213120831098 requirements it’s almost Christmas why ? ? ?!?!
8-year old sister: “Papa, dessert natin pizza?”
Mom: “Dessert ba yung pizza?”
8-year old sister: “Oo may pineapple yun eh.”
Not that I’m addicted to yin and yang, but I just felt like drawing it for my Geometry project or whatever it is.
This is my 2013 diary/planner from Witty Will Save The Earth Co. which I kind of failed to keep up with but I swear I don’t regret spending my money on this because it’s super funny and it spills my creative juice! I’m planning to buy their 2014 planner (which is still super A+ tbh) soon hihi.
I love books. I love the smell of books. I love being alone with books. I love to keep my books safe. I love everything that has to do with books. I love the idea of books.
Books. They know you. They feel you. They love you. Even if you ignore them for a really long time, even if you let the dust rest on top of them, they will still welcome you and make you feel alive. Books make you escape from reality. Books are tickets that give you easier (and better!) access to go to places you’ve never been before, and probably never will!
