Writing a blog post after 4 months of hibernation is like finally reading a book you bought a long time ago. You feel lazy at first but once you’ve started, you realize why you decided to get it in the first place and it’s because you know it’s going to be worth it! (I’m currently reading The Book Thief aND I LOVE IT)

Here are some life lessons the past few months gave me:

1. College will give you anxiety and self-doubts and all those negative thoughts that you just can’t help but cry but sooner or later you’re gonna have to stop crying and finish what needs to be done.

2. Doing > Complaining

3. The real world is not what I have always pictured it. Situations had given me reasons to gradually lose my faith in humanity but I still believe, I still do. But not as much as before.

4. Find that thin line between being kind and being dumb. Nonetheless, always have a kind heart.

5. Commit your ways to the Lord, trust Him and He will do this! I think Psalm 37:5 has become my first semester verse and God really proved to me that He is a faithful God because despite all my questions and cries, eg. “Lord, tama ba talaga ‘tong pinili ko?”, “Lord ayoko na pagod na ‘ko.”, God was true to His promise that I am walking in the right path and that everything will pay off. And boy, it did. It really did.

Belated Merry Christmas and advanced Happy New Year everyone!!
